What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Canteen

Healthy eating habits are crucial for students' well-being and academic performance. That's why all canteens in NSW public schools are required to provide more healthy food and drink options, making it easier for students to make the right choices. To learn more about these requirements, check out Healthy School Canteens.

At Panania Public School, we are proud to have a canteen that plays an important role in our school community by focusing on providing healthy food options at a reasonable price. With our canteen open five days a week and run by a paid manager under the auspices of the P&C, we strive to make sure that students have access to nutritious and delicious meals.

Ordering lunch for your child can be done via Munch Monitor, our secure online ordering system. Alternatively, you can write your child's name, class, and order on a separate paper lunch, recess or Crunch n Sip bag, and enclose the correct money and take to the canteen. Class crates are delivered to the classrooms just before eating time.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help in the canteen, and any time you can spare, would be very much appreciated. Canteen profits help us to provide students with equipment that may not be available from other sources. We believe that a healthy canteen is key to promoting healthy habits for our students, and we are committed to providing the best possible experience for everyone.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.
