2M have been doing a lot of learning. We are practising our spelling using the Initial Lit program, writing in Sentence of the Day time and working hard in mathematics.

During weeks 5 and 6 students in Stage 3 have been exploring the art of caricature and discovering how artists use exaggeration to create humour and expression.
They learned how to closely observe facial features and identify distinctive characteristics that make each person unique.

This week, 1S have been learning about both Chinese New Year and the Chinese zodiac.
We are very excited that this year is the Year of the Horse.
The horse symbolises power, freedom and bravery.
We created some horses of our own and made sure we added lots of red and gold for good luck.

In Weeks 3 and 4, 3/4D explored the art of Banksy, learning about his style, themes, and the messages behind his work. Students enjoyed putting their creativity into action by designing their own graffiti-style wall art. Their enthusiasm was impressive, and they produced some fantastic pieces.
